We are on the "Pacific Passage" that goes from L.A. to Sydney, Australia in 17 days. Fourteen of our days are at sea. (Water, water everywhere) There is so much to do on board. We have breakfast, lunch and dinner every day and there is always super entertainment at night. We attend 2 lectures a day and I am always at the duplicate bridge table from 2-4. My partner is Eddie from Arkansas ( drawls a little like I do) and we came in 2nd the first day and 1st the second day. Don and I do Team Trivia every day and have met 4 interesting people that are on our team of 6. We call ourselves "California Dreaming" since we are all from CA. I played bingo yesterday and won the "fill the card" game for a prize of $167. Yea!!! Don reads the Wall Street Journal (delivered to our room) and rests between activities. There is always a formal afternoon tea and today it is totally chocolate! I have signed up for a memoir writing class and am wait listed. (Who knew there was so much interest.) We have not sone the walk aroung the promenade deck or the water aerobics yet but there is time.
